Data indicates that in 2021, Colombia outperformed other Latin American countries regarding the presence of women in business leadership positions. In 2021, women accounted for 55.5 percent of business leaders in Colombia.This success has been realized due to the nation's unwavering dedication to uplifting women. In the last twenty years, substantial progress has been achieved in creating and implementing policies aimed at enhancing gender equality. The nation has acknowledged and adhered to all international treaties regarding women's rights. The nation has revised its legislation to promote gender equality.In the current edition of Global Woman Leaders magazine, we meet some of Colombia's and Costa Rica's successful women business leaders.
