However, with time, the softer side of leadership has gained prominence as well. Leadership today is as much about an empathetic and communicative individual as it is about being sharp and assertive.
With the definition of good leadership evolving gradually, women’s rise in leadership has also emerged as a strong trend. Some studies have gone on to understand the positive impact women can have over business. Such studies have shown that women’s unique traits make then effective leaders who enable strong teams and profitable business outcomes.
Women leaders often bring with them a collaborative approach which can improve teamwork and facilitate collective problem-solving within teams. Women leaders also showcase higher Emotional Intelligence (EI), which empowers them to effectively handle complex interpersonal dynamics, forge strong collaborations, and build a supportive work culture for all.
Such traits showcase women leaders’ unique ability to excel at business leadership. to understand women leaders and their leadership style better, we spoke to some of Costa Rica’s most successful business leaders. Through the conversation we get to know their success stories and leadership insights.
