Facilitated by inDrive's Aurora Tech Award and The Nest Innovation and Technology Park, the program brought together women founders in technology, fashion, agriculture, health and education;

Participants took part in workshops, mentorship sessions, pitches training and funding access activities that address opportunities and challenges women face in business.

Innovation, scalability and social impact were all core values of the Aurora Tech Award and formed the basis for this two-week program for women founders creating tangible solutions to world problems.

The attendees claimed the experience was very impactful. Edwina Abah, Founder, The Dotted Line Agency, stated the sessions changed the way she thinks about business building and how she communicates.

Zusi Inegbeniki, Founder, FoundexAI, enjoyed the sense of community they fostered within cohort and lessons on pitching, fundraising, and branding.

At the conclusion of the bootcamp, selected applicants will participate in another two-week mentorship program with seasoned entrepreneurs, including Folake Owodunni, Founder, and Emergency Response Africa.

The Foundry for HER Bootcamp is a furtherance of the founder, Aurora Tech Award, a tech award established for women founded in 2021 by inDrive to support women tech founders in emerging markets. This year, the 2025 edition received over 2,000 applicants from 116 countries.

According to the organizers at The Nest Innovation and Technology Park, "This speaks to our ongoing commitment to empower innovators and entrepreneurs across Africa." Applications will remain open for next cohort until 12 November 2025.
