As part of continuing to focus on inclusion in the workplace, APS Bank has introduced two new initiatives - #APSlife Women's Inclusion Network and #APSlife Pride Inclusion Network - to create an environment for like-minded employees to connect with each other and share ideas about issues that matter to them.
The Women's Network provides the opportunity for female members to share personal experiences and resources with each other, as well as to openly discuss inclusion, diversity, company policies and other relevant topics. The Pride Network provides support to those who identify as LGBTQ and their allies.
Susan Vella, Corporate Culture Change Manager at APS Bank suggests, "When employees feel supported and heard, they are more likely to create value for the company, to grow personally and professionally, and perform at their highest level. The goal of the APSlife Inclusion Networks is to provide an avenue for employees to engage in meaningful conversations and to create a sense of belonging for all APS employees."
