ASGN Inc. (NYSE:ASGN) has made an announcement regarding Sangita Singh regarding the newly established position for President of both India and International.
This will provide ASGN with both offshore delivery and enhancement of their digital engineering capabilities to advance their global growth strategy.
This appointment comes on the heels of ASGN’s acquisition of Quinnox and their emphasis on promoting a digital solutions provider with strong operations in India.
The appointment and acquisition reflect ASGN’s ongoing commitment to build a strong global delivery mechanism to meet the changing expectations of their clients as a result of advancements within technology.
According to Ted Hanson, ASGN’s CEO, “Sangita is a transformative leader who has demonstrated success at building and growing global technology companies, including in India. She is uniquely qualified to help lead our global delivery strategy for the next stage of ASGN’s growth.
Her values, experience in working internationally, strong leadership skills and extensive technical background will support this new an important position. This also shows our ongoing commitment to long-term strategies for delivery globally and to create ongoing sustainable growth.”
With more than 30 years of experience in managing growth and innovation at the world’s top technology and consulting companies, Sangita most recently served as the General Manager of IT and IT Enabled Services at Microsoft India, where she drove efforts related to AI partnerships and complex deal execution.
Prior to that, she held key senior leadership roles at IBM, Infosys, and Wipro, where she led multi-billion-dollar businesses and global teams in AI, cloud, enterprise applications, and healthcare and life sciences industry solutions.
Singh is a well-known personality in the Indian technology industry and has been recognized as one of Business Today’s 30 Most Powerful Women. She has also been identified as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and featured in India Today’s 50 on Fast Track.
In her new capacity, Singh will set up go-to-market infrastructure in India to support the company’s global capability centers and drive the growth of ASGN’s business in India.
She will also be responsible for the company’s global expansion strategy, working closely with the Commercial Segment leadership at ASGN to improve the company’s ability to execute large and complex projects for global clients and enhance offshore delivery.
