The second cohort of female leaders’ graduation has been announced by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). These women leaders are participating in the Accelerating Women’s Leadership Programme.
As part of the Executive Leadership Training programmes, this particular programme was initiated by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, focused on providing quality opportunities for Bahraini talent.
During the event, 27 Bahraini female leaders’ graduation has been marked as the second cohort within the training programme that targets 90 Bahraini women. The participants from the programme involved professionals from companies with numerous sectors like start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, family businesses, and large corporations.
The programme was executed in an alliance with a leading global institution in business education and academic research ‘HEC Paris’, aiming towards providing knowledge and skills to Bahraini female leaders which are required to excel in roles of leadership private sector of Bahrain.
Focused on advanced research, this programme was also infused with best practices in leadership skills development where it features sessions on navigating leadership with complex environments while influencing and persuasion skills. It also enhances abilities of problem solving, adopting a leadership approach which is objective driven.
