Bain & Company to Conduct Women's Leadership Forum in Riyadh

• The WLF took place on November 26–27 in Riyadh and was organized by Bain & Company
• The event brought together senior female leaders from the public and private sectors across the region
• The Forum aims to support progress in diversity within leadership teams

The Bain & Company Women’s Leadership Forum took place in Riyadh on Nov 26-27 2022. This annual event has grown into Bain’s most significant initiative to promote regional diversity since 2022, with a particular focus this year on enabling participants to take action on their stated goals.

The goal of the Forum is to provide women leaders an opportunity to develop their own vision for success in an increasingly complex world through connection and collaboration.

As Anne-Laure Malauzat (head of Social Impact for EMEA at Bain) puts it: “We want to provide women in leadership positions with the tools they need to navigate these emerging opportunities.”

The Forum provided a platform for participants to articulate what their goals were and how they can leverage their positions of authority to generate meaningful results.

Topics covered at the event included developing executive presence, strategic financial skillsets, leveraging technology and innovation, and aligning corporate values with individual leader’s behaviors.

The Forum not only built capabilities for its participants but also focused on the importance of building networks of trust and collaboration. Participants shared their experiences during structured conversations and peer interactions.

They were able to identify cross-pollinating opportunities and contribute ideas towards establishing a vision for the future of Women's Leadership in this region.

According to Lise Abi Jaoude, Associate Partner at Bain & Co., the Forum is evolving into a platform to turn ideas into action by inspiring leaders to build confidence and form connections to each other.

To further enhance the impact of the Forum, Bain & Co. has developed a one-year engagement plan involving coaching, capability-building sessions, and workshops on Purpose-led Leadership, Sustainable Decision-Making, Technology Integration and Artificial Intelligence.

According to Jasmine Bala, Senior Manager at Bain & Co, the company's objective is to assist women in making a positive long-term impact on society and creating a more inclusive and resilient future for everyone.

Bain & Co. will hold another Women Leadership Forum in Abu Dhabi during the first quarter of 2026.
