Bavarian Nordic Appoints Heidi Hunter as Vice Chair of the Board

• Bavarian Nordic A/S made an appointment with Heidi Hunter as the Vice Chair of its Board of Directors
• It comes as Anne Louise Eberhard has been appointed as Chair of the Board recently

Bavarian Nordic A/S (OMX: BAVA) has appointed Heidi Hunter as the Vice Chair of its Board of Directors after it named Anne Louise Eberhard as its Board Chair. This was done by the Board of Directors pursuant to its Articles of Association.

Heidi has been on the Board since 2023 and brings over 25 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Her experience includes clinical and commercial development and launch of products.

Earlier, she was the President of Cardinal Health, leading the Specialty Solutions businesses, and has other senior leadership roles in UCB, Boehringer Ingelheim, IQVIA, and Centocor, which is a part of Johnson & Johnson.

Additionally, she was associated with leadership roles for women’s health and oncology businesses in Wyeth, which is now part of Pfizer in the US, and for women’s health with Novo Nordisk in Denmark.

Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.

Apart from being the Vice Chair, she is currently a member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee and the Science and Technology Committee of the Board.

Heidi is also an external board member for several organizations including Vicore Pharma Holding AB, IO Biotech, Inc., and Sutro BioPharma Inc.

The Board indicated that it will continue to look for other candidates with suitable expertise to be put up for election at the annual general meeting scheduled for April 2026.
