Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) Bank recently held a strategically designed session for women leaders in Lakshmipur Community Centre, Bangladesh. This one-day purpose-driven initiative aimed at equipping women leaders with crucial skills development and resources.
This collaborative effort aims to create entrepreneurial awareness and generate stakeholder engaging meaningful interactions between women-led microbusinesses and the banking sector. The event served as a platform for women entrepreneurs of Cottage, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (CMSME) sector, at the grassroots level to directly engage with banking representatives.
The program beneficiaries gained necessary financial tools, and voice their needs to help shape more accessible and inclusive banking solutions. The tailored session reflects bank’s strategic move fostering economic growth and business development directed toward empowering female business leaders. The audience underscored the increasing engagement of women in driving local economic growth and hence the need for targeted capacity-building initiative to support their journey.
