The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) recently announced its support for women business owners in taking their operations beyond their geographical boundaries.
Women leaders from countries like Brazil, Russia, and South Africa will network through the ‘Global Women Leadership Mentoring Program’ to learn from one another’s expertise and explore new markets abroad.
Ruby Sinha, the President of BRICS CCI Women Empowerment, addressed the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos, where she said, "At BRICS CCI, we have a number of programs, such as the Global Women Leadership Mentoring Program, where we interact with organizations from BRICS Plus countries, including Brazil, Russia, and South Africa."
"There seems to be some interest in encouraging the collective works of women entrepreneurs on a global scale, beyond their country boundaries. On the other hand, our current emphasis is on the Women in Innovation, Science, and Entrepreneurship program, which was launched internationally at the BRICS Summit in Brazil, where our Women’s Summit will be centered in March."
The 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will take place with the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue,” scheduled between January 19th & 23rd, 2026, at Davos-Klosters with almost 3,000 participants hailing from over 130 countries.
This annual meeting of the World Economic Forum registers the highest ever assembly of leaders, CEOs, innovators, and policymakers globally. The annual meeting will determine the priorities at the global meeting.
The event saw comments by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, who indicated that the Indian renewable energy market is among the quickest-growing in the world, attracting foreign investors to take part in this thriving renewable energy market in India.
