Forvis Mazars in Singapore said it has appointed Chan Xue Pei as tax partner effective 6 October 2025. The firm also elevated Quek Siew Eng, Cheryl Koh, and Ellyn Tan to senior leadership roles.
Chan Xue has over 20 years’ experience in international tax planning and advisory with a focus on financial services, banking, insurance, and asset management.
In Chan's role, she will focus on deepening the firm’s financial services and asset management practices as well as advising clients on tax considerations aligned with ESG, carbon tax, and BEPS Pillar 2.
Quek Siew Eng has been appointed regional Quality and Risk Management (QRM) leader for the Group and Asia Pacific, a newly created role responsible for quality and risk management across six regions. Cheryl Koh will assume responsibility for quality management as the head of quality management, taking over from Quek.
Cheryl has more than 20 years working directly with SGX-listed companies and multinational companies, and manages the execution of the Singapore Standard on Quality Management (SSQM 1).
Ellyn Tan has been advanced to the head of financial advisory. Ellyn focuses on cross-border restructuring, litigation, and asset recovery and has been involved in multi-jurisdictional liquidations and court-appointed management for companies listed on the stock exchanges.
Women now represent 32 percent of the senior management team of Forvis Mazars, Singapore, and 62 percent of the firm's global staff, demonstrating the firm's continued commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
