Global luxury fashion house Ralph Lauren has added Claudia Crosby as its new Head of Marketing, PR & Communications for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), to bolster its leadership team in the region as it strengthens its footprint and customer engagement across the two markets. As Crosby steps into the role, she will lead the company's integrated marketing and brand engagement, public relations and communications functions, collaborating closely with regionals and global teams to ensure that the company's truly global campaigns are delivered locally in a way that doesn't compromise its global brand.
In his role as Head of Marketing, PR & Communications, Crosby will be charged with spearheading the company's end-to-end marketing approach in paid, owned and earned media. This position is also responsible for media planning, public relations, CRM, customer engagement, partnerships, events and integrated communications. She will join Ralph Lauren's ANZ cross-functional leadership team to play a major role in driving business growth on the back of the Australian and New Zealand consumer voice in regionisation with commercial, retail, merchandising, digital, finance, HR and operations colleagues.
With over 15 years in luxury marketing, strategic communications and brand management, Crosby has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. She has extensive experience in integrated marketing, stakeholder engagement and public relations, as well as digital strategy and consumer experience, with major global brands within the beauty and luxury category. The hiring of her signals Ralph's ongoing focus on proven talent to execute on the challenges of building the brand's market position in a fiercely competitive premium retail environment.
Key Highlights:
Prior to Ralph, Crosby served in senior leadership roles at The Estée Lauder Companies where she spent over a decade leading marketing and communications for iconic luxury brands, such as Jo Malone London, La Mer and Tom Ford Beauty. While on her job, she managed many successful product launches, influencer partnerships, integrated marketing campaigns, consumer events and retail marketing campaigns, and contributed to brand visibility across Australia. She has made it public how well she saw brands successfully launch in new retail outlets and how she undertook high impact marketing campaigns.
Prior to this, Crosby has also had experience with L'Oréal Group, bringing additional expertise to the table in premium beauty marketing and brand development. In both, she earned a reputation for delivering strategic communications initiatives that build brand equity and drive meaningful consumer engagement through innovative campaigns and partnerships.
Her joining follows Ralph Lauren making strides in enhancing its marketing capabilities around the globe, with a particular focus on regional leadership to provide a consumer experience that is tailored to each region. On the back of its overall expansion, the company has been increasingly investing in brand activation that is culturally relevant, CRM, digital engagement, and integrated marketing.
