The Coca-Cola Company has elevated Charlotte Wolf Tarfa to the position of Vice President, People & Culture – India & Southwest Asia. In her new position, she will be responsible for overseeing the people strategy for one of the company’s key growth geographies.
Charlotte’s portfolio will include the alignment of people, culture, and leadership development to the company’s long-term growth plans, while also building leadership pipelines in India and Southwest Asia with a focus on diversity and skill building.
Prior to this appointment, she was the Vice President Global Talent Strategy & Succession and Global Senior Director Talent & Development at Coca-Cola.
In these capacities, Charlotte worked very closely with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team on global talent and succession projects in over 200 markets.
Charlotte has also held a number of other roles in HR and leadership development at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she was responsible for corporate learning, HR business partnering, and organizational transformation initiatives for global functions.
With a solid foundation in talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational development on a global scale, she brings experience in the development of high-performance teams and leadership structures for the future.
Looking back at her first week in the new position, Charlotte posted on LinkedIn, “I started my first week in India, leading People & Culture for Coca-Cola in the India & Southwest Asia region. I got the chance to connect with our associates and bottling partners during MARK, our global Market Activation Recruitment Week, where the Coca-Cola system comes together to focus on growth and execution."
She added, “It was a great start, watching strategy unfold through people, capabilities, and partnerships. India is a very dynamic market, full of diversity, scale, and ambition, and I look forward to learning quickly and working with our teams and partners to shape the future.”
