Com Satellite Operator SES Appoints Elisabeth Pataki as New CFO

• Elisabeth Pataki was named SES's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
• Brings more than 20 years of experience working in finance for multinational defense and aerospace companies
   

With effect from June 16, Elisabeth (Lisa) Pataki has been appointed as SES's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Lisa has worked in finance for publicly traded multinational companies in the aerospace and defense sectors for more than 20 years. She will take over for Sandeep Jalan, who has been the CFO since May 2020 and is renowned for her expertise in corporate transformation and strategic investments.

To ensure a smooth transition, Lisa will work closely with Sandeep until his departure on July 31, 2025. The SES Board of Directors recognized Sandeep's leadership and achievements during his time there, which included strengthening SES's balance sheet, encouraging operational improvements, and increasing shareholder returns.

Elisabeth was welcomed to the leadership team by SES CEO Adel Al-Saleh, who emphasized her experience in successful M&A integrations, operational efficiency, and financial strategy. He underlined that her background will be crucial to SES's goal of staying at the forefront of the satellite sector.

"I look forward to joining SES and working together to shape a dynamic and successful future," Elisabeth said, expressing excitement about her new position.

Elisabeth worked at Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Company, as a finance executive before joining SES. There, she was in charge of capital investment optimization and profitability growth. As the Group CFO for the Comet Group, she managed a five percent rise in the EBITDA margin from 2020 to 2023. She held a number of important finance positions at RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon Technologies) for 10 years earlier in her career.

 Managing the integration of Applied Signal Technologies following one of Raytheon's major acquisitions in 2011 was one of these responsibilities.
