CommunityRewards, powered by Points4Purpose, Inc., unveiled the rollout of a new Business Grant and Mentorship Program assisting women-owned companies in the Miami region. Sign-ups are ongoing and will remain open until May 23. A total of 12 local business entrepreneurs will be receiving a package that has a cumulative value of $20,000 through this venture.

The initiative provides the beneficiaries with access to AI-fueled loyalty rewards software solutions and personalized mentorship.  "Every grant recipient will have about $1,600 in AI-fueled loyalty rewards technology and services to enhance customer loyalty and grow their customer base," explained James Trocme, Chief Operating Officer at Points4Purpose, Inc.

Furthermore, James will host a financial business workshop for grant recipients, providing professional guidance on how to analyze business performance and how to scale effectively in times of uncertainty. Created to enhance customer retention efforts through cash back rewards and micro-charity donations, CommunityRewards seeks to empower women entrepreneurs with essential tools for growth.

"From the numbers, we know that women are great leaders who can create successful businesses if they're provided with appropriate opportunities and resources," James stressed. He continued that prejudice and inaccessibility to resources usually hold women and minority business owners back. "With this initiative, we want to do away with that—help them convert their customers into brand ambassadors."

He also highlighted how the CommunityRewards platform strengthens customer loyalty by integrating charitable initiatives into daily transactions. “We’ve seen how businesses build stronger communities and customer bases when shoppers are motivated not just by the products or services offered, but also by the brand’s commitment to local causes,” he said.

The initiative places a special emphasis on diversity, encouraging applications from Latina, Black, Native American, Asian, and Ukrainian women entrepreneurs, among others. “We want to uplift Miami’s vibrant community of innovative women business leaders,” James said.

“Scaling a business is tough, and women and minorities often face additional hurdles. That’s why this grant program exists—to help smart, determined women entrepreneurs expand and thrive.”

To qualify for the program, companies need to be based in Miami-Dade County and have to be a for-profit organization. Both retail and online stores can apply, and home-based operations are also invited. The applicants need to be U.S. citizens or legal residents and be at least 18 years old. The company should be owned by at least 51 percent by a participating founder or co-founder, and should have minimum gross revenue of $100,000. However, companies which are actively raising venture capital, angel capital, or are considering liquidity events within the next 12 months are not eligible for the program.
