Faye Iosotaluno, a former Tinder CEO has been appointed as a President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Entangled Publishing, marking a significant move in the company's expansion plans as it moves beyond publishing towards broader media and entertainment interests.
In her new role, Faye will oversee company operations, product innovation, and brand development. The appointment reflects Entangled Publishing’s ambition to diversify its business and create deeper connections between authors, readers, and storytelling experiences.
Faye brings extensive leadership experience from the technology and media sectors. In 2025, she resigned from Tinder after serving as CEO for almost eight years, and from Match Group, the dating platform's parent company. Prior to her appointment as CEO she was the COO of Tinder for 2 years. In her time there, she assisted in the development and growth of the platform and spearheaded the initiatives to bring artificial intelligence to the heart of Tinder's prediction systems, further personalizing the experience.
Prior to Tinder, Faye spent years working as a senior leader at SoundCloud, Viacom and Warner Bros., developing a wealth of experience in digital platforms, media and consumer engagement.
According to Entangled Publishing, Faye’s experience aligns closely with the company’s vision for growth. The publisher noted that during her time at Tinder, she successfully expanded one of the world’s most recognized consumer platforms beyond its traditional value proposition and brand positioning.
The company stated, she will bring the same approach, emphasizing that “the most enduring media companies don't just tell stories, they build the world’s authors create and consumers want to live in.”
Entangled will invest in franchise development, consumer experiences, events and community-building efforts as a part of its long-term strategy. The vision is to take popular stories and make them available in new ways to further engage authors and readers and to provide more opportunity for additional growth.
The appointment comes after a minority investment in the company by entertainment and content company backers The Chernin Group earlier this year. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, the deal valued Entangled Publishing at approximately $400 million, highlighting the company’s growing influence within the publishing industry.
“Faye is just the sort of leader that is needed at this time to bring new possibilities for writers and even more ways for readers to connect with their author's stories," Entangled cofounder and CEO Liz Pelletier said in the announcement.
Expressing enthusiasm about joining the company, Faye said, “Entangled is one of the most extraordinary companies in media—full stop. What Liz has built here isn't just a publisher. It's a community of the most coveted audience in entertainment: passionate women who show up, engage, and evangelize. That's rare, and it's powerful. I am thrilled to join because I believe the next chapter is the biggest one yet.”
With Faye joining its leadership team, Entangled Publishing is positioning itself to accelerate its transformation into a diversified media company while expanding opportunities for authors, readers, and storytelling franchises.
