Grace Y. Toh Appointed Executive Director of Friends of the National Asian Pacific American Museum

Friends of the National Asian Pacific American Museum (FRIENDS), a 501(c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to establishing the National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture on the National Mall, has announced the appointment of Grace Y. Toh as its new Executive Director.

Grace has over 30 years' experience in bank and financial management, holding senior roles in major financial institutions. She is also a co-founder of a registered investment management firm with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Aside from her professional certification, she has also been an energetic working member for nonprofit services, serving on numerous boards including the Smithsonian Women's Committee, Friends of the National Zoo, Wellesley Business Leadership Council, the Wellesley College Alumnae Association, and the Wellesley College Board of Trustees.

She holds a B.A. in Economics and Chinese Studies from Wellesley College, Management Information Systems from MIT's Sloan School of Management, and an MBA in Finance from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business.

Friends of the National Asian Pacific American Museum is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization committed to the creation of a vibrant, innovative museum on the National Mall. The museum will honor and remember the significant contributions of Asian Pacific Americans to the history, culture, and values of the nation. As the bipartisan commission prepares its report to Congress and the President regarding the museum’s establishment, FRIENDS is leading the charge—building support, engaging stakeholders, and advancing efforts to bring this historic institution to life. It’s time to shine a spotlight on Asian Pacific American history at the heart of the nation.
