Greystar Promotes Daniella Meyer to APAC, Japan HR Role

  • Greystar announced the internal promotion of Daniella Meyer to the position of Senior Director, People and Culture for APAC and Japan

Daniella Meyer is the new Senior Director of People and Culture, APAC and Japan at Greystar. This is part of the company’s strategy to build a robust leadership presence across the region and to enter new markets within the Asia Pacific.

Before this promotion, she was Director, People and Culture, APAC and Japan. Her efforts helped shape the people strategy for the Asia-Pacific region at Greystar.

Daniella has been involved with the APAC Executive Leadership Team in collaborating with regional leadership to ensure talent and organisational needs align with their business-growth strategy.

On LinkedIn, Daniella confirmed she was promoted to Senior Director of People and Culture, APAC and Japan and has transitioned into this role at Greystar.

As the Senior Director of People and Culture, she will continue to oversee the People and Culture function for the APAC and Japan regions.

Her primary responsibilities include collaborating with the Country CEO, Managing Directors and regional leadership teams on initiatives related to talent acquisition and development, talent retention, and employee development in emerging Asia-Pacific markets.

Daniella has over 15 years of experience as a human resources leader in APAC, Japan, and South America, having experience in supporting organizations during periods of growth and change.

Prior to Greystar, she was a senior human resources leader at Okta, where she supported growth in APAC and Japan, and at indeed, where she led human resources strategy during periods of regional growth. Earlier in her career, she was at Getty Images, Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank.

Her experience is in the development of scalable people initiatives that support business needs while also encouraging inclusive and high-performance workplace cultures.
