In a strategic move to amplify women’s leadership, the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) Qatar unveiled the IBPS Women Excellence Network (IWEN), highlighting the increasing impact of Indian women across Qatar’s business and entrepreneurial sectors.
Underscoring the role of collaborative ecosystems in women’s empowerment, Sandhya Bhatt, Second Secretary at the Indian Embassy in Qatar, officiated the IWEN launch. She recognized IBPC’s initiative as a progressive step toward enhancing the presence and contributions of Indian women in the region’s development landscape.
Demonstrating a structured approach to women’s empowerment, IBPC Qatar introduced a comprehensive suite of IWEN initiatives tailored to drive impact across critical domains. These programs include Reignite, MoneyWise, Nurture, SheEO, Bliss, Strive, Evolve, Thrive, e-mpowHer, Spark, and Amplify.
Highlighting IBPC Qatar’s inclusive leadership agenda, President Thaha Muhammed, in his welcome address, outlined the vision behind the launch of IWEN. He reaffirmed the council’s dedication to advancing women’s empowerment through strategic mentorship, cross-sector collaboration, and access to growth opportunities.
IBPC Vice President Shubhi Sharma introduced the ‘IWEN Souls’, the dedicated core team entrusted with spearheading the initiative’s program. She highlighted IWEN’s multi-dimensional focus areas, which span professional growth, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, personal wellness, and holistic life support.
Closing on a celebratory note, the formal proceedings ended with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the successful launch of IWEN and the beginning of an impactful chapter for IBPC Qatar’s engagement with women leaders.
