INTREPIDA to Host Four International Forums in Spain & Portugal

Three Cultures Foundation is set to organize the ‘INTREPIDA Forum: Bridges of Entrepreneurship’, on October 27 and 28 where women entrepreneurs from Spain and Portugal will have the opportunity to share their experiences and look for business growth opportunities. The conference will involve participants from Seville, Huelva and Cádiz as well as women entrepreneurs from Portuguese regions of the Algarve and Alentejo.

The forum will foster collaboration between female businesses and show the significance of communication as a key instrument for entrepreneurship. Some of the topics to be discussed at the event include customer loyalty, entering the new markets and the use of artificial intelligence in order to promote business activities. Through the discussion, the entrepreneurs will get ideas to improve their market interaction, build better business relations and meet customers' needs.

Experts from different areas such as communication, business consultancy and professional development will be part of the programme. Estrella Montolío, Professor of Hispanic Linguistics, consultant of communication strategies, researcher will bring in her knowledge in the area of effective communication. Another speaker Carlos Ojeda, works as a consultant, trainer and mentor with specialisation in artificial intelligence.

The other speakers are Esther Parejo, a journalist with a specialisation in corporate communication and creator of Lidera con Voz Propia and Penélope Serrano, lecturer specialising in communication, leadership, negotiation and digital transformation in the professional and business fields.

In addition to the above, there are networking sessions aimed at building professional relationships between the attendees and fostering the exchange of ideas and experiences of entrepreneurship. More than 70 women entrepreneurs, including those engaged in consulting, technology, digital marketing, gourmet food, business coaching, artificial intelligence, wellness and entrepreneurship training, will participate in these sessions. In the process of networking of the professionals having different business skills, common interests can be discovered, and partnerships for the future may be found.

The forum held in Seville is the first of four international events planned within the framework of the INTREPIDA pro: Internationalization of Female Entrepreneurs from Spain and Portugal towards Integration, Development, and Partnerships project. The objective of the event is to enhance inter-country business connections, foster the internationalization of female entrepreneurship, and facilitate cooperation among entrepreneurs in Spain and Portugal.

Three other forums will be held in 2027 in Cádiz, Spain, and Évora and Loulé, Portugal. Besides those events, the project will include the development of the online directory of female entrepreneurs operating in the Euroregion Alentejo-Algarve-Andalusia. The INTREPIDA series is aimed at providing women entrepreneurs with an opportunity to introduce their business model, experience, and enterprises will also continue.

INTREPIDA pro belongs to the sixth call for projects within the Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2021-2027 programme, which is considered the biggest programme of cross-border cooperation within the European Union and is celebrating its 35-year anniversary. This time two new organizations have joined the group – Bahia de Cádiz Economic Development Foundation and NERA – Business Association of Algarve Region.
