Chinese tech company, Kuaishou Technology renewed its pledge to inclusive development at the International Symposium on Girls’ and Women’s Education 2025. Co-hosted by UNESCO, Beijing Normal University, and China’s National Commission, the forum united global women leaders to share practical approaches that advance learning for girls and women.
Representing Kuaishou Technology, Song Tingting, President and Chairperson of the Public Welfare Foundation, emphasized upon fresh efforts being put into supporting women and girls by harnessing digital innovation.
"Short video and livestreaming platforms like Kuaishou are becoming powerful tools to help women realize their potential," said Song. "By making technology accessible, we are enabling women to overcome barriers and participate more fully in economic and social development."
Song drew attention to the gap in digital resources for women in rural communities. The critical issue underscores that countless women still lacked meaningful access, reaffirming the company’s commitment to bridge the divide with innovative and inclusive solutions.
Kuaishou fosters curiosity by connecting rural youth to Beijing’s science and cultural resources. Kuaishou empowers rural women with skills to work, start businesses, and gain recognition. Kuaishou Technology has setup 14 digital classrooms in rural schools, inspiring girls in STEM.
