Madison Reed Appoints Nancy Bigley as President of Stores

Madison Reed, the luxury beauty brand famous for its disruptive, innovative approach to hair color, has appointed Nancy Bigley as President of Stores.

As Madison Reed's first President of Stores, a new role created specifically for her, Nancy will be responsible for Madison Reed's Hair Color Bar business, including its 97 currently opened owned-and-operated stores in the U.S., future store openings, and building the company's franchise and store expansion strategy. She will be a direct report to CEO and Founder Amy Errett.

Since 2020, Madison Reed's Hair Color Bar businesses, which offer a salon experience for the modern hair color experience has increased eight times, is growing double-digits consistently, and 70 percent of guests are now members of one of the brand's membership programs. The hiring of Nancy is meant to help accelerate growth and support Madison Reed's leadership in the category.

Nancy has significant experience in multi-unit and franchise operations, previously serving as the Multi-Brand Group President at Unleashed Brands where she supervised six of the eight brands that make up the company while developing growth strategies, initiatives around operational efficiencies, and cross-brand strategy.

She was also a co-founder and served as the CEO for Bottle and Bottega, Inc., and after its acquisition, she was the CEO of Twist Brands. Her executive experience has included roles at Dunkin' Brands, American Leak Detection, and The Dwyer Group (previously known as Neighborly).

Beyond her executive experience, Nancy is an active participant in the International Franchise Association and was the 2022 recipient of the IFA Woman's Franchise Committee Crystal Compass Award.

Commenting on her appointment, Nancy said she was excited to amplify the Hair Color Bar business at Madison Reed, intensify the guest experience, and drive the brand's omnichannel expansion while rewarding the existing strong culture in the organization.

CEO Amy, commented on Nancy's leadership style being guest-focused will help the company capture their highest opportunities for company performance while building a great culture for their colorists' team.
