MileOne will continue to lead as an advocate for women-led businesses in Laredo, with a $25K grant from the PNC Foundation. MileOne’s Women Entrepreneurs Rock Series (WERS) successfully wrapped up its 2025 season, with strategies to expand the program in 2026.
PNC Foundation awarded grant after the event saw a compelling presentation by Webhead’s CEO and President Janie Martinez Gonzalez on “AI for Every Business Owner: Smarter & Responsible Growth,” MileOne stands as Laredo’s premier business incubator, empowering startups and small enterprises through tailored support, expert guidance, and collaborative work environments.
“PNC has been so gracious to serve as the 2026 Platinum Sponsor for our Women Entrepreneurs Rock Series,” said César Hernández, Chief Operating Officer of MileOne Inc. “We’re very grateful and take this responsibility seriously. The series gives female entrepreneurs a platform to learn, grow, and connect — and it all starts here at MileOne.”
WERS serves as a platform for professionals from diverse fields to connect with influential women leaders with local entrepreneurs, encouraging meaningful dialogue, networking, and shared growth.
“PNC Bank has been proud to support the Women Entrepreneurs Rock Series from the very beginning. We’re deeply committed to empowering women in leadership and business, and it’s inspiring to see how this program continues to spark new ideas and connections here in our community,” said Rosa Cruz, Client & Community Relations Director at PNC Bank.
