Natixis Investment Managers (IM) has hired Ping Yee Low as Head of Institutional Business for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
She will be responsible for overseeing the company's institutional client development and business expansion in the region from Singapore. Low will be reporting to Dora Seow, CEO of Natixis IM Singapore.
Ping brings over two decades of experience across investment consulting, research, sales, and product management. Before joining Natixis IM, she was Head of Institutional Business at Schroders.
Her previous roles include fund selection and advisory at CTBC Bank Singapore and investment consulting at Mercer.
Commenting on the appointment, Dora said that Ping’s broad expertise and understanding of institutional clients would support Natixis IM’s continued growth in the region.
Ping showed low expressed enthusiasm for joining the firm in its expansion phase, commenting that Southeast Asia has good opportunities in terms of income growth and energy transition.
Fabrice Chemouny, Natixis IM Head of International Distribution, further commented that the rapid development of the region offers opportunities for growth, and emphasized Low's strategic experience as valuable to the firm's growth strategy.
