Nayana Williams Named Advisor to Caribbean Women Network

The Women Entrepreneurs Network of the Caribbean (WENC) has announced that Nayana Williams, CEO of Lifespan Company Limited, has been appointed as an advisor to the network’s board. This move is expected to support the network’s mission in empowering women entrepreneurs in the Caribbean.

Nayana term is expected to last two years. She is expected to provide her expertise as a business leader in supporting women entrepreneurs in their early and mid-stage businesses.

The President of WENC, Ethnie Miller Simpson, welcomed the move, stating that Nayana’s expertise is expected to be beneficial in supporting women in their entrepreneurial journey. In Jamaica, the network is continuing to support women entrepreneurs in their businesses.

They are doing this through mentorship and other activities that are expected to enhance the business environment in the Caribbean. Nayana expressed her joy in accepting the role and contributing to the work of the network. She stated that mentorship and experiences are essential in supporting women in their businesses.

The following event was sponsored by WENC, with the most recent being the Global Mentoring Walk for Vital Voices held on International Women's Day at Emancipation Park located in Kingston Jamaica.

The Global Mentoring Walk is a unique opportunity for male and female mentors and young entrepreneurs to engage in a dialogue regarding various aspects of leadership, including business improvement, as they walk together as a group.

Nayana had the opportunity to attend the mentoring walk and sponsor water through Lifespan, his company.

He has been involved with Vital Voices since its inception in 2008, which is now a worldwide initiative that takes place around the globe each year, connecting thousands of women and providing them with opportunities for networking and mentoring.
