  • OnHerOwnLane hosted THEPOD LIVE 2025, the inaugural live version of the podcast, on October 25, 2025
  • The event was held at The Alternative Bank in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

OnHerOwnLane hosted THEPOD LIVE 2025, the maiden live edition of its podcast, OnHerOwnLane – THE POD, on Sunday, October 25, 2025.

The event brought together the largest assemblage of women leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers for a day of worship, learning, and networking at The Alternative Bank in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Designed as an in-person extension of the podcast's mission, the event was purposed to move the conversation into measurable community impact across Africa.

THEPOD LIVE expanded that by creating an interactive space where personal experiences met professional development.

Participants gained hands-on knowledge in areas such as finance, law, entrepreneurship, and mental health through worship sessions, panel discussions, and workshops on values-based leadership.

A distinguishing feature of THEPOD LIVE 2025 was its unique engagement of thoughtful leadership and actionable solutions.

The panel captured a full-scope cross section of entrepreneurs; including Abimbola Charles-Davies (Fastest Cakes), Teniola Tunde-Oni (Pharmarun), Doreen Omoseis (Blossom Girls Outreach Foundation), Enifome Ogbimi (Live Again Foundation and Shelter), Michelle Omosehin (Mimi-Luxe Premium Experiences), Auralere Ladipo (Clinical Psychologist), Esther Akintayo (Financial Educator), Mobolaji Olotu (Startup Legal Consulting), Ayodele Fasuyi (Amani Health Inc.), Ibukun Adelegan (Gospel Artist & Entrepreneur), Anuoluwapo Somoye (Shows Delight) and Precious Omolu (The Growth Pen).

Each session was fully aligned with actionable topics related to tax, sustainable business design, mental health, and faith based leadership.

Overall, the event theme was consistent with a sustainability model for women's empowerment with an emphasis on Finance & Law, Her Faith–Her Life–Her Lane, and Building for HER.

Supported by sponsors and partners including Sanu Coin, One Remit, Matta Africa, Grubspot, Swit & Fit, Helado Delicia, Gino Nigeria, Tolas Touch, and TMA Global Consults, the event brought into play a results-driven model for women's leadership.

By casting a light on challenges-from the lack of access to capital and resources for mental health-and meshing them with actionable advice, THEPOD LIVE 2025 proved to be both an interactive platform for shared learning and a template for sustainable impact.
