Organon, a global healthcare business, marks its fourth anniversary with an intensified focus on improving women's health and creating a diverse, empowering work environment. Themed "4 Years Strong. For Her. With Her.," the company looks back at its four years since it spun off in 2021 and its singular emphasis on helping meet the health needs of women.
In the Philippines, Country Manager Emmanuel Tiglao underscored Organon's mission to extend access to healthcare solutions that enable women across all phases of life. "Filipino women are the pillars of our communities, and their health must be a national priority," he stated.
The anniversary has staff-initiated activities that reflect Organon culture and values. These are the ‘HER Health Champions Awards’, which recognize employees leading the charge for women's health and community social values; the ‘Dear Future Her Wall’, a promise board symbolizing future-generation women; and ‘The Fun Awards’, which foster employees' positive energies and team spirit.
Pairing Pride Month, the celebration also reaffirmed Organon's dedication to diversity and inclusion, as symbolized by a Pride-themed moment in the anniversary dinner. "Belongingness is in the DNA of how we work and look out for one another," Emmanuel stated.
Organon's contribution in the Philippines is considerable, particularly since women account for more than 21 million of the workforce. With more than 60 medicines in its portfolio in the important therapeutic areas, the company is still forging partnerships and advancing the availability of care—ranging from reproductive health to support during menopause—and ultimately, the improved outcomes for women, families, and economies. "Four years on, we are just getting started," Emmanuel added.
