PEFA Opens Third Regional Branch in Romania

European Business Women's Confederation (PEFA) officially has expanded its regional structures in Romania by opening a new branch in Timisoara, after the successful opening in Iasi and Sibiu. The transfer is part of PEFA's countrywide expansion effort to enhance entrepreneurial communities and women entrepreneurs across the country.

According to a press release, the opening of the Timisoara branch is part of PEFA's mission to establish more robust business networks in the region and more opportunities for the women entrepreneurs and business professionals. The expansion continues the organization's mission to champion leadership, innovation and collaboration in the business environment in Romania.

Andreea Mazilu, founder of LA Management & Entertainment will run the newly opened Timisoara branch. She will be assisted by Deputy Directors Liliana Gionea and Marc Jumanca, and Ana Maria Toth as Branch Secretary. The leadership team will work together on creating local initiatives, building partnerships and helping grow regional entrepreneurs.

"Three years after its establishment, PEFA is consolidating its presence in Romania's main economic and cultural centres, following the opening of branches in Iasi and Sibiu," the organization stated in the press release.

The launch event attracted considerable interest from the business community, bringing together 785 participants from several Romanian cities, including Timisoara, Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Alba Iulia, Oradea, and Arad. The strong turnout highlighted the growing importance of business networking platforms dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering regional economic development.

Another significant step is the appointment of PEFA Ambassador for International Relations, Manuela Mihai. She will be responsible for establishing international cooperation, fostering opportunities for cooperation across borders and for entrepreneurial development in Romania at global level.

The European Women Business Owners' Association was formed in 2022 and has since become a successful organization and meeting ground for entrepreneurs, executives and representatives of the business community. PEFA keeps advancing business growth, fostering professional development and bringing opportunities in the path of professional leadership for women in Romania, through an ever growing network of regional branches.
