By: Global Woman Leader Team | Tuesday, 13 October 2026

The eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards 2026 officially launched on October 12 at eir’s headquarters in Dublin, bringing together female entrepreneurs, business leaders, nominees and past winners ahead of this year’s awards ceremony.

Now in its sixth year, the awards will culminate on November 20 at the five-star Anantara The Marker Hotel in Dublin. Organised by VIP Publishing, the event aims to recognise and celebrate women making an impact across Ireland’s business landscape.

Key Highlights:

  • Power of Women Awards 2026 launched at eir’s Dublin headquarters
  • Organisers will honour Ireland’s leading female entrepreneurs on November 20
  • Past winners shared insights on resilience, business growth and leadership

The launch introduced the 2026 nominees and provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs and industry leaders to connect, exchange experiences and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing women in business.

A key feature of the event was a panel discussion involving 2025 winners Geraldine Jones, Kerry Hanaphy and Georgie Crawford. The conversation explored the realities of building businesses, overcoming setbacks and creating sustainable ventures. The panellists also highlighted the importance of resilience, visibility and support networks for women entrepreneurs.

Last year’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Jennifer Rock, also reflected on the significance of her win. Rock, who founded Irish clinical skincare brand Skingredients, described the award as both a surprise and a meaningful recognition of the work undertaken by her team and business partners.

The awards continue to receive backing from major brands. eir returns as the title sponsor, while NEXT, Bord Gáis Energy, Kérastase, InMode Lift, South William Clinic, Dulux and Tia Maria are supporting this year’s edition.

Beyond celebrating individual achievements, the Power of Women Awards provide a platform for women-led businesses to gain visibility and strengthen professional connections. Recognition through the awards can help entrepreneurs expand their networks, engage with peers and build relationships with potential customers, mentors and business partners.

The 2026 launch also underscored the growing importance of creating stronger ecosystems for women in business. Bringing nominees and previous winners together allows established entrepreneurs to share experiences with emerging business leaders while encouraging collaboration across industries.

With the November ceremony approaching, nominees will compete for recognition across various categories, including the coveted Entrepreneur of the Year honour. The awards seek to shine a national spotlight on women whose leadership, innovation and determination are contributing to Ireland’s business community.

The sixth edition comes at a time when women entrepreneurs continue to play an increasingly important role in Ireland’s economy. Through its annual celebration, the Power of Women Awards aims to reinforce the value of recognition, visibility and community in helping female-led businesses grow.

As preparations continue for the November 20 ceremony, this year’s nominees will now await the announcement of the winners at Anantara The Marker Hotel, where Ireland’s women entrepreneurs and business leaders will come together to celebrate their achievements.
