Stripes Beauty Expands Advisory Board with Leading Experts in Women's Health

Stripes Beauty, Naomi Watts' wellness brand focused on pro-aging, has enlisted the help of two world-distinguished voices for women's health as members to its Strategic Advisory Board, namely Dr. Cindy Meston, Ph.D., and Dr. Somi Javaid, MD, FACOG. Release on Vagina Appreciation Day respects the company's ongoing effort towards moving menopause and sexual well-being science-backed care.

Sexual health and menopause are tragically under-served in medical research and product formulation. Vaginal dryness is felt by up to 90 percent of women at menopause, but too many avoid treatment from shame or embarrassment. Stripes is committed to flipping that on its head by getting the best minds in the business talking openly, improving treatment, and providing intelligent solutions for women's changing health concerns.

Dr. Cindy, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of the Sexual Psychophysiology Lab at UT Austin, is a prominent expert on women's sexual health with three decades of trailblazing work in the psychology and physiology of women's sexual function. She is accompanied by Dr. Somi, board-certified OB/GYN and founder of HerMD, who is a vocal advocate for menopause health and women's sexual health.

As co-chairman and COO, together they will oversee Stripes in its scientifically-backed product formulation, clinical research, and education initiatives intended to care for women physically, emotionally, and sexually.
