Sunshine Holdings & IFC to Launch Women's Employment Advisory Programme

Sunshine Holdings PLC has teamed up with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, to roll out a comprehensive women’s employment advisory programme focused on supporting women in the workplace.

The goal is to increase job opportunities for women and promote respectful, comprehensive work environments. This collaboration, with backing from the IFC’s Facility for Investment Climate Advisory Services, will use the IFC’s expertise to thoroughly assess how women are employed within the company.

The aim of the program is towards improving the ability of the company to attract and keep women in its workforce. The IFC will also offer specialized training to promote respectful workplaces, helping the organization develop better prevention strategies, reporting systems, and ways to respond to issues.

Alongside this training, there will be practical tools and guidance to help monitor and evaluate policies aimed at creating respectful work environments.
