Tracey Murphy has been appointed Head of People & Culture for Australia and New Zealand at Europ Assistance Australia and New Zealand (Redion). She brings extensive experience in senior HR leadership, with expertise across people strategy, organizational transformation, talent management, employee experience, remuneration, performance management and executive advisory.
Before joining Redion, Tracey worked as an Interim HR Consultant, supporting organizations including Redion (formerly Europ Assistance), Endemol Shine, Tiger & Bear Partners, Encore Group Holdings and Brighte. Her consulting work covered employment relations, organizational redesign, performance frameworks, employee share ownership plans, mentoring, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and employment law reforms.
Earlier, Tracey served as Chief People & Culture Officer at Info media from 2021 to 2023, where she led the global people function across Australia, the UK and the US. Her responsibilities included employee experience, performance management, leadership development, HR technology, internal communications and M&A integration, while also contributing to the company’s Remuneration, People & Culture Committee.

Previously, Tracey served amaysim for almost five years, moving from Senior Human Resources Manager to Chief People & Culture Officer. During her time as CPO she reinvented the People & Culture function and managed a group of teams spread out across 4 offices and servicing a workforce of around 750 employees in Australia and the Philippines. Her areas of responsibility included leadership development, employee engagement, incentive programs, acquisitions and overall people strategy.
She has held previous positions as HR Manager at Baxter International, Human Resources Business Consultant at Melbourne IT and HR Business Partner at Optus. Throughout these assignments, she gained experience in talent management, organizational change, workforce planning, remuneration, restructuring and employee relations and leadership advisory. She currently applies this wide people leadership experience to Europ Assistance's business in Australia and New Zealand.
Europ Assistance's Australia and New Zealand division is a part of a larger care and assistance organization around the world. In 2026, the Redion brand was launched for the Care platform that combines Europe Assistance and Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) worldwide.
