Held on November 6, 2026, the session focused on implementing the government's Support for Women's Entrepreneurship Project for 2026–2035, also known as Project 2415.

The program took place in person at the Central Committee's office in Hanoi, with online participation from 34 provinces and cities across Vietnam. The training aimed to equip Women's Union officials with the knowledge and practical skills required to organize the upcoming competition and support women in developing business ideas, preparing startup projects and accessing entrepreneurial resources.

Participants included representatives from specialized departments of the Women's Union's Central Committee, provincial-level Women's Union leaders and officials responsible for women's economic development. Representatives of commune-level Women's Unions and women interested in participating in the competition also joined the program.

Key Highlights:

  • Vietnam Women's Union trains officials for the 2027 entrepreneurship competition
  • Project 2415 promotes women's economic empowerment and sustainable businesses
  • The 2027 competition highlights innovation, digital transformation and Vietnamese brands

Promoting economic development, entrepreneurship and legitimate wealth creation for women is one of the priorities of the Vietnam Women's Union. The Prime Minister has approved Project 2415 (Decision No. 2415/QD-TTg of October 31, 2025) for implementation to strengthen women's economic empowerment and expand opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

The project aims to develop sustainable business opportunities by facilitating linkages between women entrepreneurs and resources and strengthening the capacity of the Women's Union at various levels to enhance the support provided to women.

The approach to women entrepreneurship under the project 2026-2035 goes beyond the approach of helping women to think of business ideas and start entrepreneurship. It also highlights the development of human resources in management, science and technology, digital and green transformation, building business brands, and investor connection and market opportunities.

The officials of the Women's Union are expected to deepen their understanding of the issues being faced by the female entrepreneurs, link them with experts, financial institutions, businesses, and various other support networks.

Two practical sessions were held as part of the training programme, which were dedicated to preparation for 2027 competition. During the first session, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Women's Union's Women's Affairs Department Tran Thi Thu Ha explained the rules and the requirements for organising the competition.

The purpose, eligibility criteria, evaluation criteria, application process and implementation guidelines were discussed in her presentation to ensure uniformity in conducting the competition among the local Women's Union organisations.

The second session was led by Truong Thanh Hung, CEO of FiNNO Group and Vice Chairman of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Advisory Council. He helped the participants to formulate and deliver start-up concepts and business projects. The session included topics on the identification of viable business opportunities, focus on business idea, formulation of business model and business plan and showcasing innovation, technological application, competitive advantage and brand value.

The training also gave the participants a chance to share their problems from their areas and get some advice from experts. The talks were supposed to help them better support women during the competition as well as the development of their businesses afterwards.

The central message of this competition is "Double Transformation – A New Driving Force for Economic Growth", which shall be the theme of the competition in 2027 with the name “Women Entrepreneurs in Innovation, Elevating Vietnamese Brands”.

It is part of PROJECT 2415, which is designed to promote women entrepreneurs in adopting innovations, digital technology and green business practice as well as boosting Vietnamese brands. The competition was officially launched by Vietnam Women's Union in October 2026, creating another forum to bring women entrepreneurs into the front of communication with businesses, investors and professional support organizations.

The Vietnam Women's Union wants to enhance the ecosystem for women-led businesses through Project 2415 and the next competition, and to increase their access to business resources and motivation to join sustainable economic development.
