Visa finishes 3rd round of She's Next program for Women Business Owners in Azerbaijan

The third phase of the international program "She's Next Empowered by Visa," targeting the empowerment of women's entrepreneurship, was completed in Azerbaijan successfully. The project was conducted in collaboration with Visa, the world leader in digital payments, and Birbank Biznes, one of the leading providers of banking and business services.

Commencing on May 16, 2025, the program ran for almost three months and included an educational and competition segment named "Create Your Success Story." It was for women entrepreneurs and conducted in two categories, Small and Medium Businesses and Micro Businesses, drawing more than 400 contestants.

Members were provided with free access to courses online via the She's Next system. Successful completion of training earned them guidance from professional mentors prior to the last stage. The last competition was held on July 11, 2025, in Baku, where business projects were pitched by finalists to a professional jury. Three sub-category winners were chosen for each business group and awarded monetary prizes to enhance their businesses.

In the Small and Medium Enterprise category, third prize and 5,000 AZN award were won by Jamila Guliyeva for her cosmetics and household goods business. Second prize and 10,000 AZN were won by Gulara Jumayeva, owner of cosmetics distributor Bellabaci. Turkan Eyyubova won first prize and 15,000 AZN for her enterprises Coffee 9bar and Street 9bar.

In the Micro Business segment, third and 5,000 AZN were awarded to Shelale Ibrahimova, eating disorder trainer and consultant. Nigar Jabiyeva, an owner of a children's development training center, took second place and 10,000 AZN. The first prize of 15,000 AZN was awarded to Asunta Adigozalova, an owner of the brand of natural soap "Le miracle d'Asunta."

Visa and Birbank Biznes also made the announcement at the last event of introducing Azerbaijan's first-ever co-branded business card for women entrepreneurs the She's Next card featuring a range of special privileges. Being a product of Kapital Bank, Birbank Biznes continues to support entrepreneurs by providing them with innovative and easy-to-use means of managing their businesses effectively.
