Visa makes an announcement regarding the third wave of She’s Next, Empowered by Visa – A pitch competition for women entrepreneurs, being organized in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in association with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), an operational partner in Armenia.
She’s Next, Empowered by Visa is an international program which tries to help and encourage women who are aspiring to become successful entrepreneurs to grow and succeed in their long-term goals.
The grant competition application time begins on January 12 and will close on January 31, 2026, to invite all woman entrepreneurs in Armenia to participate in and be given the chance to win grants in developing their respective ventures.
Visa Regional Manager for the Caucasus and Moldova Diana Kiguradze said, “We are proud to bring the third wave of She’s Next to Armenia, continuing our mission to support and celebrate women entrepreneurs. At Visa, we believe that empowering women in business is essential for driving innovation and economic growth across the region.”
She added, “Through this initiative, we aim to provide women with practical business knowledge, foster valuable connections, and create opportunities for them to take their ventures to the next level. By working together with our partners and the entrepreneurial community, we are committed to building a more inclusive and resilient business environment where women can thrive and lead the way toward a brighter future.”
This year, for the first time in Armenia, it will be presented in the format of Elevator Pitch, which is an active competition and assists startups in presenting their idea or startup in an effective and catchy manner.
This competition will enable them to master and learn how to pitch in an impressive and confident way to get more ideas and investors onboard.
