Allison Worldwide and Stagwell have deepened their global communications and healthcare capabilities with the promotion of a professional veteran Wendy Lund to Global Chief Executive Officer of Allison Worldwide and Stagwell's Vice Chair of Health.
Wendy, who will join on January 12 and be based in New York, boasts over 30 years of communications and healthcare leadership. She will report to Allison Worldwide Executive Chair Ray Day for her CEO role, and to Stagwell Chairman and CEO Mark Penn on the healthcare role.
Previously, Wendy was Chief Client Officer at WPP Health, further developing the group's health and pharma offering.
She also served as Chief Communications Officer at Organon, a women's health company spun out from Merck in 2021, and CEO of GCI Health, where she oversaw tenfold growth over ten years as the agency head. Under her guidance, her agencies have garnered a range of "best place to work" and "agency of the year" awards.
She will also assume the role of Global CEO at Allison as they continue to grow as an agency. Additionally, she will be the Stagwell vice Chair for Health, where she will oversee healthcare strategies, identifies growth opportunities, as well as direct efforts for uniqueness within the Stagwell network.
