Women in Ag Tech to Host Empowering Event at Tech Hub LIVE 2025 in Des Moines

• Aims to empower women in all facets of agriculture and agricultural technology

Women in Ag Tech (WiAT) will go back to Tech Hub LIVE with a 1/2-day occasion complete of networking possibilities, beneficial insights, and idea-upsetting discussions for girls in agriculture and ag tech. Meister Media Worldwide is web hosting the event, which is about to take area at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines

In its third year, WiAT has emerged as a major component of Tech Hub LIVE, drawing experts from digital platforms, precision agriculture, crop protection, farm finance, ag retail, and research and development. Susan Olson, Ph.D., a former aerospace engineer and founder of BargeAITM, who is currently leading the ag tech startup Action Intel, will give the keynote address at the opening of the 2025 program. Olson will discuss how data, sensors, and AI are changing agriculture and how women can take the lead in this change.

Experts from Bayer Crop Science, the University of Illinois, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will participate in a panel on optimizing ag tech investment through improved infrastructure and data utilization. Sarah Canada, Chief of Staff to the CTO, gives an inside look at innovation at Corteva Agriscience in another session.

Leaders from Agri-Access and Burns Insurance Agency will lead additional conversations that will examine how agricultural technology is changing credit and insurance through tools like automation and cloud-based records. The "Tigress Teams Activity" is back with small-group coaching on legal literacy, confidence, and leadership, and Iowa farmer and ag advocate April Hemmes will conduct an open Q&A.
