The Women in Insurance Summit Canada is continuing its tradition of bringing women together for its 9th annual meeting on June 2, 2026, at the Universal Eventspace located in Vaughan, Ontario. This is a chance for women and allies from across the insurance industry to gather for a highly engaging experience.

This year’s theme, “Navigating Change. Shaping the Market. Elevating Women”, spotlights strategies for leading through transformation and influencing market direction. It will in turn accelerate the advancement of women across all levels of the sector.

The program is designed to confront the sector’s most urgent challenges, from digital transformation and fraud mitigation to closing talent gaps. It will also benefit in handling burnout, navigating generational change, and steering organizations through volatility.

Designed to provide actionable insight, the program features thought leadership across wellbeing and organizational resilience, talent development and future leaders. Session will also focus on talent development and advancement of future leaders, helping organizations strengthen their leadership pipelines. The agenda will also examine market economics and risk governance, providing clarity on navigating an evolving business landscape.

The participants will have tools to manage up, make decisions, and steer through mergers and ongoing disruptions. In the spotlight session, "Next Gen Insurance: Smart Strategies to Hire, Grow, and Keep Top Talent," there will be an analysis of changes in employee expectations and imparting knowledge about hiring, growth, and retaining through smart strategies.
