The signing of the agreement saw The Empowering Women Middle East and the Arinnitti Foundation come together at the Global Family Office Investment Summit in Dubai.
Though the two-day event was dominated by talk of private capital and cross-border investment, one of the most popular moments of the Gala on 4 February was the signing of a women’s empowerment partnership.
This took place at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in the presence of global family offices, institutional investors, and high net worth individuals.
The Global Family Office Investment Summit is recognized as one of the pre-eminent events in the region for capital leaders.
It saw the attendance of decision-makers from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. During the two-day event, there was discussion on long-term investment approaches, regional growth opportunities, and sustainable capital allocation.
Family offices were a source of significant intergenerational wealth, with topics ranging from infrastructure, innovation, regulatory certainty, and emerging markets. However, the legacy theme was also incorporated into the event.
In her opening remarks, Claudia Pinto emphasized the changing nature of family offices: “Family offices are not only custodians of wealth. They are stewards of legacy and progress. When capital is guided by knowledge and long-term thinking, it strengthens economies and communities.”
She also emphasized the UAE’s role in making such discussions possible: “The UAE has created a space where investors, entrepreneurs, and public institutions can engage directly and build partnerships based on trust. This proximity allows ideas to move faster and decisions to be made with confidence.”
In this context, the signing of the partnership became a significant event. The partnership between The Empowering Women Middle East and the Arinnitti Foundation is dedicated to empowering women as leaders and as agents for a resilient society.
Their mission is to address women’s well-being, education, and long-term empowerment in a transparent and value-driven manner.
Together, they have the same objectives working towards long term outcomes; this includes working to uplift current programs being offered in other countries so that they can positively impact their families, communities, and countries now and in the future.
This agreement enumerates a number of joint initiatives, including women's empowerment ecosystems; governance frameworks for ethical leadership; well-being centers; leadership programs; social impact initiatives; retreats; and global humanitarian initiatives for women.
