Women Who Empower S2 Concludes with Recognition Ceremony in Dubai

Canon Middle East and the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) recently organized an award ceremony to celebrate the culmination of Season 2 of the Women Who Empower program.

The ceremony honored participants who completed the training program successfully, which dealt with the development of skills in imaging and print sectors.

Between April 17 and June 16, 2025, three specialized training modules in career development and entrepreneurial development were implemented in the program.

Every participant received a completion certificate, while the top performers received Canon products and were featured on Canon's official platforms.

Mai Youssef, Director of Communications & Corporate Marketing, Canon Middle East & Türkiye, said the success of the alumni demonstrated just how dedicated the program was to professional and community growth.

Nadine Halabi, DBWC Business Development Manager, underscored the power of the program to give women practical skills to boost careers in the print and imaging sectors.

Program overviewed on photography module: Led by Canon Ambassador Jorge Ferrari, encompassed basics, visual narrative, and real-world techniques, content Creation module: Presented by Dubai-based content creator Jhon Ruzz Merca, centered on video and visual content creation, editing, and monetization.

Print module: Led by Ayman Aly, B2B Marketing Director of Canon Middle East covered digital printing uses, industry trends, and entrepreneurial prospects.

Awarded participants where, Photography: Wadad Tabbara, Business Consultant at Wadad Hamade, Content Creation: Camila Cascio, Commercial Director at Dubai AcceleRated Tech.

Print: Rasha Msallam, CEO at Next Gen of Immunology (NGIg1 DMCC) – first place; Elizabeth Thomas, CEO  & CVO at Pets Oasis LLC – second place.

The program ended with final assignment presentations, highlighting its objective to cultivate skills, creativity, and business potential in the imaging and printing sectors.
