Zaina Diana Zinal Joins Encorp Bhd Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

Malaysian property development company, Encorp Bhd has appointed Zaina Diana Zinal as its Independent Non-Executive Director effective August 18, expanding its board through her over two decades of experience in quantity surveying, construction cost consultancy, and dispute resolution.

Presently as a Director with ZRR Dan Rakan-Rakan Sdn Bhd, Zaina possesses wealth of experience in contractual management, expert witness services, and risk assessment.

In a previous stint in her career, she was stationed in the UK with GF Partnership (Building) Ltd and Kier London, having undertaken top-profile projects that varied from the redevelopment of Kings Cross Station to the renovation of Royal Free Hospital. She returned to Malaysia to oversee mega residential developments.

Encorp said her appointment is a reflection of its firm commitment to gender diversity, since women now make up 40 percent of its board.

Chairman Mohd Yusmadi Mohd Yusoff said her inclusion would enhance governance, introduce more diverse thinking, and facilitate long-term value creation for the company.
