Could you share insights into your extensive career as a business leader in Argentina? What are some key areas of expertise you have honed throughout the years?
My professional journey began at McKinsey & Co., where I was part of the team that introduced the firm to Argentina. During six enriching years, I gained a strategic perspective on business amidst the country's significant transformations, including privatizations and mergers. I participated in key projects in LATAM across sectors such as financial services and retail, focusing on process redesign, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Leading the operations at Banco Hipotecario, the main financial institution in mortgages, further enhanced my ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution, as I navigated the complexities of implementing structural changes in daily operations.
Subsequently, I joined Telefónica, working for 12 years in Argentina and Spain. As CIO for Telefónica Argentina and later Global CIO, I oversaw operations across 16 countries, demonstrating my ability to lead high-performing technical teams in a competitive international environment. Thirteen years ago, we returned to Argentina for our children's education and to be closer to our aging parents. I joined Newsan, starting in Supply Chain and eventually overseeing all company operations. And now I am leading the integration of P&G Argentina into Newsan’s ecosystem. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in operations, technology, organizational transformation, and process optimization, maintaining a strategic and transformative approach.

How do you envision Argentina's business landscape evolving in 2025? Additionally, what role do women play in driving Argentina's economic growth?
In 2024, Argentina's government made significant strides in reducing the fiscal deficit, stabilizing the economy, and controlling inflation. Looking ahead to 2025, the business landscape is expected to grow, with increased investments in infrastructure and energy sectors driving long-term growth. Deregulation and privatization policies are likely to enhance competition and market efficiency, creating new business opportunities.
Technological advancements, including AI and IoT, are anticipated to play a crucial role in economic development, boosting Argentina's global competitiveness. Women are increasingly taking on leadership roles, contributing valuable perspectives and management styles. Although the gender pay gap persists, it is gradually narrowing. However, challenges remain, such as the unequal distribution of caregiving responsibilities and underrepresentation of women in certain sectors.
