ABB Saudi Arabia Launches Mentorship Program to Support Saudi Women in Partnership with SSEWN

Saudi Arabia's Riyadh ABB In partnership with the Saudi-Swedish Executive Women's Network (SSEWN), Saudi Arabia has formally launched its "2025 Women's Mentorship Program." This historic program demonstrates ABB's dedication to fostering the development of Saudi women's talent via intercultural cooperation and mentoring. 

By matching female employees of ABB Saudi Arabia with seasoned mentors from Sweden and Saudi Arabia, the program aims to expedite their professional growth. Through job shadowing, group mentoring, monthly virtual one-on-one sessions, and participation in real-world business challenges, participants will gain insightful leadership knowledge and strategic career guidance. 

The program, which targets high-potential female employees and early-career professionals, supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives to boost female workforce participation and create a robust pipeline of female leaders. 
 
According to Ali Al-Koud, Country HR Manager at ABB Saudi Arabia, "this initiative highlights ABB Saudi Arabia's belief in shared success and the power of collaboration." "We're investing in individual careers as well as the Kingdom's industrial future by empowering Saudi women and promoting knowledge exchange with our Swedish counterparts." 

"We are honored to collaborate with ABB on this significant initiative," said Katie Hagström, Director of SSEWN and Mentorship Program Lead. By matching Saudi women with seasoned mentors from both nations, a foundation of opportunity, development, and mutual knowledge is created. 
 
The program offers networking opportunities, frequent virtual mentoring, and a graduation ceremony to honor participants' accomplishments. Through individualized development plans that combine practical experience and strategic guidance, mentors will assist mentees.
