Allianz Joins Mortgage Choice Program Supporting Women Brokers

By: Global Woman Leader Team | Monday, 18 May 2026

Mortgage Choice has partnered with Allianz Australia for two years, to promote women representation in the mortgage broking industry via the Aspire program, a leadership and talent initiative aimed at female brokers throughout the company’s network. Aspire was launched in 2020 as part of a backdrop of an overall reduction in brokers, but a drop in women representation within the profession.

The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) estimates women are approximately 27% of all brokers across the country. Mortgage Choice has surpassed that benchmark, however, as 33% of its brokers are women. But the company believes there is still a significant scope for improvement in making a more balanced and inclusive industry.

According to Sally Chadwick, Executive Manager of Corporate Communications, Events & Franchise Marketing at Mortgage Choice, and the partnership is indicative of the long-term commitment on the part of the company to promote diversity and representation. As the head of the Corporate Communications department, Sally is accountable for corporate strategy development, franchise engagement, broker events, and other programs aimed at supporting brokers and connecting with consumers throughout Australia.

We believe the broking industry should reflect the diverse Australian communities we serve,” Sally said. “When borrowers can access advice from professionals who understand their lived experience, everyone benefits.”
