Ana Stewart Appointed as New Chief Entrepreneur of Scottish Govt.

Recently, Ana Stewart has been announced as the new chief entrepreneur of the Scottish Government. She will be taking up the role in 2026 July, acting as the chief advisor to government, specifically on growing the start-up and scale-up economy.

Her role includes key priorities like implementing the Pathways report, co-authored by her. She will also be optimising existing programmes as well as initiatives in addition to rising risk capital market of Scotland, working with universities to upsurge the spin-out companies’ number which reach scale.

Ana has been a part of Eos Advisory for five years as a Partner alongside Pathways Forward as Chair. She has also worked with Bella & Duke Ltd as Non-Executive Director for six long years and with Condatis for two years in the same role.

Moreover, she was honoured with awards like ATM Industry Champion by ATMIA, Finalist Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and Winner, Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year by Entrepreneurial Exchange.
