The Cape Argus, a South African newspaper, has announced an initiative to celebrate Women's Month by recognizing courageous women changing the trajectory of business. These businesswomen are instigating change, reshaping communities, and creating better futures with their entrepreneurial thinking and relentless resilience.

In recognition of their commitment to women in business, the organization will award one woman entrepreneur with R100 000 of exposure in selected Cape titles.

The purpose is to change, create opportunities, and highlight women's entrepreneurs who are building businesses and contribute positively to society and the economy.

From fledgling start-ups to established businesses, women business owners are encouraged to share their stories. A PR boost and more, this campaign is an ode to determination, innovation, and the resilience of women in overcoming adversity.

To apply, candidates must submit a motivational letter detailing their business, reason for starting it, and why this opportunity can be a game-changer.

A short video (max 2 minutes) of their business, product, or story behind the brand should also be submitted.

"She said: 'Growth for all is at the core of a successful economy. This campaign shines a light on incredible women who build with passion and purpose and allows them to shine brighter."

Women from any industry or at any stage in their business are encouraged to enter. The winner will receive a tailor-made media package, - it will help them build brand awareness, create audience engagement and stimulate business growth.

This Women's Month, the Cape Argus would like to celebrate those who are breaking barriers and creating legacies. That could be you or someone you know, and we want you to enter.
