Established in 2006, the Cartier Women’s Initiative is an annual international program designed to accelerate the growth of women-led businesses that deliver measurable social or environmental impact across sectors and geographies.
Operating for close to two decades, the initiative continues to elevate female-founded ventures on the international stage. Over the years, the initiative has disbursed more than $18 million in funding to support female entrepreneurs and business leaders.
This prestigious entrepreneurship initiative annually showcases women-founded enterprises making measurable change across sectors. Last year, 33 women changemakers were selected by the Cartier Women’s Initiative for their commitment to driving to driving sustainable impact through entrepreneurship. The 2024 program, aimed of finding ‘forces for good’ rewarded the most promising mission-driven businesses with tiered grants from $46,000 up to $150,000.
Cartier’s initiative is designed to equip women entrepreneurs with essential financial backing, strategic networks, and capacity-building resources to accelerate their business impact. The network has scaled to include over 500 participants, creating a robust platform for knowledge exchange and cross-border innovation among women-led ventures. To qualify, businesses must demonstrate sustainable impact, growth capacity, and commitment to advancing the UN’s development agenda.
Selected entrepreneurs participate in a tailored fellowship program featuring individualized workshops in leadership communication, media engagement, and advanced business capabilities. Participants engage with seasoned jury members who provide valuable insights and open doors to international business networks. Cartier’s 2026 program is open to women-led ventures through June 24.
