First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and Women Enterprise Alliance (WENA) enter a strategically alliance to empower 150 women entrepreneurs in North Central Nigeria. Committed to invest in entrepreneurial growth, FCMB confirmed that the selected investors and partners will provide grants up to N5 million to top three SMEs emerging under this initiative.
In an event in Abuja at WENA’s Federal Capital Territory office, SheVentures- the woman banking arm at FCMB and WENA formalize a commitment to scale women-led small and medium-sized enterprises.
The initiative offers support through funding, market access, and capacity building programs. This drive is directed to work in favour of women-entrepreneurs supporting their growth and sustainability in the particular region.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Group Head, SheVentures at FCMB, Nnenna Jacob-Ogogo, said: “This partnership reflects our continued commitment to unlocking the potential of women entrepreneurs across Nigeria. At SheVentures, we believe empowering women economically is one of the fastest ways to drive inclusive growth and community development. Together with WENA, we will ensure that women in the North Central region have the funds, the tools, skills, and exposure needed to thrive.”
