Developer Achieves Milestone Highlighting Commitment to Diverse Leader

AVID, a company that has won numerous awards for its developments has announced a number of appointments in its ongoing commitment to assembling a diverse and talented team.

The appointments are a testament to the company’s dedication to attracting and retaining the best talent and providing a workplace where employees can flourish and reach their potential.

The appointments comprise Nicole Fyfe, a Senior Development Manager in Queensland, Lucy Sawyer, a Senior Development Manager in Victoria, Anna Tu, a Development Manager in Victoria, Layna Stephens, a Development Manager in Queensland, and Sabrina Gatto, a Development Manager in Queensland.

The appointments come on the heels of AVID being recognized as an Inclusive Employer by Diversity Council Australia, where women now make up 51 percent of its workforce and 30 percent of its senior leadership positions.

“These appointments are a testament to our commitment to attracting and retaining the best talent and providing a workplace where employees can flourish and reach their potential,” said AVID CEO Cameron Holt. “Increasing diversity is a key part of a company’s ability to deliver excellent results.”

Each of the appointees has significant experience: Fyfe has 21 years of experience in property development and will oversee projects including AVID’s flagship community in Queensland, Harmony; Sawyer has 18 years of experience in Australia and the UK, specializing in early-stage community development; Anna has more than a decade of experience in managing complex and sustainable projects; Sabrina has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of design and construction, converting design vision into reality; and Stephens has almost 20 years of experience in master-planned communities and large-scale residential projects.

The new leadership team represents AVID’s commitment to collaborative, resilient, and community-focused approaches to building liveable communities, as well as its drive for expansion and customer-centricity.
