  • The partnership will focus on improving professional development for women

To increase women's economic participation and support their professional development, Dubai Women Establishment signed a memo of understanding with the Dubai branch of J.P. Morgan to establish a cooperation framework.

The document was signed by Naeema Ahli, DWE’s Chief Executive Officer, and Khaled Hobballah, Senior Country Officer for the Middle East and North Africa, at J.P. Morgan.

The agreement puts in place a comprehensive framework for cooperative work in the areas of economic empowerment; leadership and professional development; and career mentorship.

Therefore, the two organizations will jointly work to create and deliver programs, including, but not limited to workshops, seminars, specialized events, and networking opportunities, to help women build skills and advance knowledge and careers in the workplace.

As part of the collaboration, J.P. Morgan will provide expert support for trainings, help with the planning and delivery of events, and provide mentorship on an individual basis to attendees.

Both leaders reiterated the importance of the partnership: Ahli explained that this partnership is aligned with DWE's Strategic Plan to better empower women to contribute to the national economy through effective partnerships, while Khaled emphasized that supporting women's career progression is an important driver of innovation and sustainable economic growth in the UAE.
